Technology has become an essential part of my daily life, and I can't imagine living without it. I feel very comfortable using various tech tools for everyday tasks because they make things so much more convenient. I rely on technology for my education and at my job. During the COVID pandemic, I served an LDS mission, and I came to realize just how crucial technology was in connecting with people and sharing my faith. Even after my mission, I continued to work from home, and even now, while I'm far away at BYU Hawaii, technology keeps me connected with my loved ones through video calls, which is especially important in my long-distance relationship. Technology has had a major impact on many aspects of my life which I'm grateful for it.
I want to learn how to use technology to make teaching and learning more exciting and effective. I hope to figure out how to use technology in different subjects and classrooms. By the end of this course, I want to know how to make learning more fun and help students work together, be creative, and take charge of their own learning using technology. It's important because it can make education better for the students I'll teach in the future.

Technology really does keep us connected. Every once in a while my parents give me a, back in my day speech, telling me how much it used to cost to call long distance. It's crazy we can be here in Hawaii and call home to our families wherever they may be. I'm grateful I can contact all my loved ones anytime, anywhere.
It is so crazy to think what if we didn't have technology? That would be really difficuly. Using technology to have constant communication with loved ones at home is a major deal. Also during covid, I feel like that is when it boomed!
