From my experiences, I've discovered two effective learning strategies that have surprised me: teaching others and using mnemonic devices. Teaching others means explaining concepts to someone else, which not only helps them learn but also reinforces my own understanding. To use this strategy, I can find opportunities to teach my classmates, join study groups, or offer tutoring help. By teaching others, I deepen my understanding and identify any gaps in my knowledge.
Another strategy is using mnemonic devices, which are memory aids that help remember information. It could be creating acronyms, visual images, or rhymes that make information easier to remember. To use this strategy, I can choose challenging information and create personal mnemonics to recall it later. By teaching others and using mnemonic devices, I can enhance my learning in college by strengthening my understanding and improving my memory retention.

That's great to hear about your surprising and effective learning strategies! Teaching others is indeed a powerful method that benefits both the learner and the teacher. By explaining concepts to someone else, you solidify your own understanding while also helping others grasp the subject matter. It's a great idea to seek opportunities to teach classmates, participate in study groups, or offer tutoring assistance. Teaching others not only reinforces your knowledge but also helps identify any areas where you may need further clarification.
I agree with that teaching to someone is efficient to understand and learn. Your blog reminds me of my teaching experience as a Japanese tutor. As teaching Japanese to students I could understand more about Japanese. There are many way to stuck memories in our minds. Thank you for Sharing Cherry!
